SDWVA Testimonials

South Dade Women Veterans Alliance, Inc. is a non-profit organization designed to provide supportive services to women veterans living in the community of South Dade with a special focus on military sexual trauma (MST) and Intimate Partner Violence (IVP) and other women veterans’ issues.

"South Dade Women Veterans Alliance makes me feel like I am in the right hands when it comes to helping me fight for my claim. For many years I have been lost and have had no guidance with my claim. South Dade Women Veterans Alliance has helped me feel that I am finally heading in the right direction. "

"The South Dade Women Veterans Alliance is an organization that truly cares for Veterans and their Families in the South Dade Community. I have participated in a couple of events, and I have witnessed how hard they work to take care of veterans. The familiar feeling and closeness to the community; the determination to make a difference, it is what drives this organization. Thank you for all your support and continue this excellent work."

"I had just moved to Miami from St. Louis, MO. August 5, 2021, and I knew no one and was here alone. Since I went to the event and connected with SDWVA South Dade Women Veterans Alliance and the fellow military women that run this organization, as well as other clients and people like me it has been great.

I no longer feel alone. It is great the planned events, and comradery that these ladies have for one another make it so easy to feel welcomed. I know they understand what I am saying and my perspective when speaking. Due to the outings, and events we have I can see places, and experience things I would not have without being a part of this group and organization. They give so much information and directions as well as connect you to where you need to go for personal assistance. I am so thankful to be a client of SDWVA and I look forward to continuing my journey with them."
